Resettle Mediation

Organiser: Resettle Mediation

A family and community dispute resolution company serving Oxfordshire. Before turning to a court, most disputes are required to consider mediation. Operating seven days a week, from 10am – 9pm, we provide impartial, practical and confidential service across Oxfordshire and the North Cotswolds. Mediation can help couples through their divorce, dissolution or separation to reach agreement on dividing the family finances and make future living arrangements. Unlike judges, mediators do not determine what is fair: you do. Nor do mediators impose solutions on you. We believe you are the experts in the difficulties you face, we are merely specialists in facilitating you solve them. We also work with parents to make parenting plans and arrange contact schedules. There are many issues in separated parents’ lives which can be the source of conflict: schooling, religion, health and dealing with new relationships such as step-parenting, as well as relationships with the wider-family. We know that communication between separated parents is very important. Mediation can help you agree on the when, how and why. And we also bring neighbours together to help them resolve matters such as access, boundaries, noise or anti-social behaviour, as well as landlords & tenants who are in a disagreement. Mediation can reduce the acrimony and intensity of a protracted legal dispute. It is a much cheaper, much quicker means of settling disagreements than taking legal action.
