Connect is a UK based charity supporting people with aphasia (a communication disability after stroke of head injury). Each person experiences aphasia differently. Some can no longer speak, some only have a few words. Others can no longer read, write or use numbers. Aphasia can be very isolating, and so Connect run peer-led groups where you can be yourself - you don't have to speak at all if you don't want to.
