Book Buffs

Book Buffs are a friendly informal group. We discuss two books each month, one of which is supplied by Oxfordshire Libraries and given out a month in advance. Details for the next two months books are published in the Letcombe Register - New members and occasional visitors are welcome, not having read the books should not stop anybody coming to join us! The Letcombes and District Horticultural Society is a small friendly garden club based in Letcombe Regis. The club caters for all levels of gardeners with one thing in common, a love of and enthusiasm for gardening Most meetings comprise a talk on a horticultural related topic followed by coffee and a chat.In May the season ends with an evening visit to a local garden. Seeds can be obtained through the club at a discount of 35%. Sept to May only.

Whitchurch Theatre Club

The Whitchurch & District Theatre Club takes you to musicals, plays, ballets, operas, classical concerts etc. once a month. Salisbury, Windsor, Oxford, Stratford and Chichester, amongst other places, are often visited. We also go to major London productions. We mainly go to matinees in the week but sometimes we go to evening and weekend performances. We also have day trips to various places. Tickets are purchased at group/concessionary rates.

The Whitchurch Hill Camera Club has been running for over 25 years, and with a membership of 80+ (and still growing) we believe that we are the biggest and best camera clubs in the Reading area of Berkshire. Bell Ringers

Like making a noise? Come and learn to ring a St Marys. Bellringing is an ancient, fascinating art that can be enjoyed by people of all ages from all walks of life. You do not need to be particularly strong or musical in order to ring. Children from as young as 9 or 10 can learn to ring and I know people who are still ringing in their nineties.
