Hanney Bell Ringing

Learning to ring is challenging and rewarding. It is excellent exercise and also keeps the brain active. People who suffer with back problems find it especially beneficially. Anyone with the necessary dedication will find it a rewarding social pastime. Once you have mastered the technique it is just like riding a bike, you will always be able to do it, and you will undoubtedly get immense satisfaction from it Retire to Th Plough Inn afterwards to relax and chat!

Sweet Memories Senior Citizen Club

The Coffee morning is open to all members of the community all around Oxford. Entry includes a raffle ticket, four games of bingo as many cups of tea or coffee as you like, cakes, biscuits, home made scones, pasties and toasted sandwiches. Soup with a roll and hot snacks will be served during the winter months. Themed coffee morning and tea dances are often held. Run quizzes, games, talks from various groups e.g age concern. Every last Thursday in the month there is a sing along with Bernie on the electric organ with all the old songs!
