Goring Gap U3A

If you are retired, semi-retired or about to retire you are eligible to join us. There is no minimum age. We provide the opportunities for education, recreation and companionship in a mix of activities of your choosing The main purpose of the U3A is to support a set of interest groups and Goring Gap U3A already has over 25 active groups. Members may join as many groups as they wish. Each group is run by its members and organises its activities as decided by the members of that group. The usual format of a meeting is for an activity to be pursued or topic discussed, with an exchange of knowledge and experience where appropriate. From language courses to bird watching to Mah Jong

We provide daytime support (day centres) for adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health problems and dementia. The Community Support Service provides a range of activities and services to help people to stay healthy, independent and engaged. Each of the eight centres has flexible, knowledgeable, well trained staff who ensure that support is offered in a person-centred way in line with people’s needs.
