Short mat bowls at the village hall, Stanford in the Vale We are a very friendly group who all began at varying times essentially to play social bowls. The first three sessions that a new person attends are Free Annual subscription, currently £6 per year is charged and a fee of £1 per session includes tea/coffee and biscuits We ask that players wear either bowling shoes or slippers with flat, smooth soles. We have equipment i.e. sets of bowls which can be used by anyone wishing to have a go!
