A Lifeline unit, linked to a telephone and a personal pendant which is worn around the neck, on the wrist or attached to a belt. In addition there are a number of sensors which automatically monitor the home environment. These sensors are linked to the Lifeline unit, without the need for wiring, and they detect potential dangers such as smoke or overflowing water.

A warm welcome awaits you at services in St.Agathas, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, one of six churches in the Wallingford team benefice. Other activities include an active choir, bell-ringing, coffee on Wednesday mornings and occasional concerts and recitals. The church is generally open to visitors during the day Sunday services commence at 9.30 am with Parish Communion on the first, third and fifth Sundays, All-age worship (non-eucharistic) on the second, and a shorter All-age Communion on the fourth. There is a Sunday School on the third Sunday, meeting at 9.30 am in church before moving in to the church room.
