Benson Choral Society

Organiser: Benson Choral Society

Benson Choral Society has a membership drawn from a wide area including Wallingford, Dorchester, Watlington and the villages around We give three major concerts a year usually of the larger works, and accompanied by the Elgar Orchestra There are approximately 120 members of the Benson Choral Society, of which between 90 are 100 are active at any one time. Both the choir and the conductor feel that audition is unnecessary as they wish to encourage singers to join and enjoy the experience of singing in a choir It is assumed that all members will have had some singing experience, and be able to read music and follow a score If you want a "taster" for what we do and what our rehearsals are like, please come and join in at one of our rehearsals. Just make yourself known to one of the committee or voice representatives. You will then be introduced to your voice representative and made welcome All parts are most welcome, with tenors particularly welcome!,

Date Weekly (Tuesdays), 7.30pm

Venue St Marys Church, Wallingford, OX10 0EG
