Henley & Goring Ramblers

Offers short leisurely walks on Saturday afternoons. The walks will all be under 4 miles, for two months (in May and June). Some walks will be flat, others undulating. One of the main reasons for introducing the walks is to attract non members and the walks will be free of charge. Henley Handibus

Henley Handibus has one 11 seater minibus, with a tail lift which makes it easy to accommodate people who use wheelchairs. The bus is used every weekday and regular journeys are free of charge to people who have a bus pass. The organisation has 12 volunteer drivers who have all been assessed and passed the Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme (MiDAS). Outings for groups of local people such as theatre goers or residents of nursing homes are undertaken and journeys are charged per kilometre travelled. They can also assist with transport to local churches We ask for £2 per kilometre travelled but £1.50 per kilometre if the journey exceeds 35 kilometres for non-regular journeys.
